Meet Our Team
Faith A. Brosch, MD
Dr. Faith Brosch was born and raised in New Jersey and attended the University of Delaware. She graduated from New Jersey Medical School in 1987. Her residency in Ob/GYN was at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She has practiced in Delaware since 1991 and is a Fellow of the American College of Ob/GYN. Dr. Brosch has an interest in normal and high risk obstetrics, menstrual disorders- including surgical and non-surgical treatments of abnormal or heavy uterine bleeding, gynecological surgery and sexually transmitted diseases.
The Department of Ob/GYN of Christiana Hospital has awarded her The Golden Apple for excellence in teaching residents and students. Dr. Brosch is married and lives in Delaware with her husband and two sons.
Karen J. Lytle-Glover, MD
Dr. Karen Glover is happy to announce her return to the obstetrical side of her practice! After stepping away from delivering babies for a few years while her daughters were in high school so that she could be more consistently available to her family, Dr. Glover returned to the full practice of obstetrics in mid-2020.
Dr. Glover is a graduate of Cornell University and Cornell University Medical College. She did her residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. She has been in practice since 1996 and is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. Her practice includes both office and surgical gynecology.
Dr. Glover spent much of her childhood abroad and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. She enjoys caring for women from the international community here in Delaware.
Dr. Glover served for 8 years as a medical officer in the U.S. Army Reserves where she was attached to the Darnall Army Medical Center at Ft. Hood, TX. She has also been on 3 medical missions trips to Nicaragua through Global Health Outreach, which is run by Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Two of the trips were to provide cervical cancer screening to a high-risk population in Managua.
Dr. Glover has been married for 24 years to Peter who is a physical therapist. They have two daughters who are now both college students. The Glover family are puppy raisers for The Seeing Eye and are currently raising their 5th puppy, a German Shepherd named Imelda. Dr. Glover enjoys walking and hiking with the dogs, biking, and traveling.
Zubda Rashid, MD
Dr. Zubda Rashid is an experienced Ob/GYN from a multicultural environment. Dr. Rashid’s education started in Pakistan where she graduated from Kin Edward Medical University at Lahore, Pakistan in 1981. She earned her UK Board Certification in 1997 and furthered her training in Ob/GYN in the United States where she began her residency at Northshore University Hospital in Long Island, NY, from 2000-2001. She continued as a resident under the Chairman and Residency Director, John R. Musich, M.D., at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI from 2001-2004. Dr. Rashid practiced in New Jersey before joining Maternity and Gynecology Associates in 2006 where she continued to widen her care for women. She became a fellow of the American College of Ob/GYN in 2006.
Dr. Rashid became an accomplished gynecological surgeon through her residency program and training at various medical centers and hospitals here in the U.S. and the U.K. as well as in her home country of Pakistan and neighboring countries. Her points of interest include caring for adolescents to post-menopausal women. Dr. Rashid is a caring doctor who is experienced in routine and high-risk obstetrics, routine gynecology, and surgical procedures.
Dr. Rashid is multi-lingual. She is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi languages.
Meet Our Physican Assistant
Teresa M. Lunardi, PA-C
Teresa is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She joined Maternity and Gynecology Associates in January 2011, after working six years with the Ob/Gyn residency program at Christiana Hospital. She graduated from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program in 2004. Teresa is a member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and works to improve patient understanding of HPV related diseases. She takes a holistic approach to women’s healthcare, and continues to further her knowledge of the connection between mind and body in promoting well-being. Teresa speaks Spanish and has participated in medical service trips to Latin America. Outside of work she stays active running and practicing yoga. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and their two sons.
Meet Our Midwives
Michelle Pelton, CNM
Michelle is a graduate from Frontier Nursing University, where she obtained her MSN in Midwifery. She did her clinical rotation at Beebe Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit. Prior to studying midwifery, Michelle worked as a Labor and Delivery staff nurse at Christiana hospital for 8 years. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). She is also a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM). Michelle is an advocate for the natural labor process and wants the women to feel like they can participate in the decision making process of their pregnancy care. She also provides routine gyn and contraceptive care in the office. Michelle’s husband is a restaurant owner in Dover and they have four sons.
Amber M. Garbe, CNM
Amber began her career in women’s health with over 8 years of labor and delivery/postpartum nursing. She is a graduate of Frontier Nursing University and completed her clinical rotations at Christiana Care. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Amber prides herself in providing care for women though all stages of life and is passionate about pregnancy and childbirth. She has a calm, reassuring presence and gives 100% to every patient she encounters. She also has special interest in infertility and care of teen patients.
Amber lives in Middletown and loves being a wife and mother to her two sons John and Jacob.
